Abstract

The present Law implements the Federal Animal Disease Act of 11 April 2001 (BGBl. I p. 506). Article 1 establishes that the State Ministry competent for social affairs is responsible for the correct application of the above-mentioned Law. The text – consisting of 30 articles – deals, inter alia, with the following matters: competent authorities, Animal Disease Fund, official veterinary, administration, advisory board, financing, Animal Health Service, costs and fees, and entry into force.
