Abstract

The present Regulations are made under the Canadian Environment Protection Act. In particular, the Rules lay down provisions relating to procedures for boards of review establishes under section 333 of the afore-mentioned Act. The text - consisting of 15 sections – deals, inter alia, with the following aspects: powers of Board to vary rules, quorum, calculation of time, conference, notice of hearing, written submission, expert witnesses, evidence, public nature of inquiry.
