Abstract

These Rules are enacted in accordance with the Fishery Act. In order to import sailfin tuna, the importer shall obtain the an import consent issued by the Fishery Agency of the Council of Agriculture of the Executive Yuan. Import consent shall not be issued if there are the circumstances as prescribed in Section 5, including: The origin of the fish is the country from which the International Fisheries Organizations prohibit the import of the fish; the sailfin tunas are caught in the Atlantic Ocean, and the weight is less than 15 kilograms; etc.
