Abstract

This Act provides for the control of certain activities in rivers to which this Act applies and which are specified in the Schedule to this Act. Controlled activities include dredging and use of steam vessels. Those activities require a licence issued under this Act by the Minister. The Regulations set forth in the Third Schedule to this Act shall be endorsed on every licence to dredge.
