Abstract

These provisions amend the Restriction of Use of Hazardous Substances in Electrical and Electronic Equipment Regulations. In particular, they replace Schedule I, which deals with applications of lead, mercury, cadmium, hexavalent chromium, polybrominated biphenyls (PBB) and polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDE) which are exempt from the requirements of regulation 4(2).
