Abstract

The present Regulation is made under the Manitoba Fisheries Act and the Manitoba Fisheries Regulation issued by the Federal State. In particular, the Regulation lays down provisions relating to the payment of penalties for infringements. Section 2 establishes prescribed offences and specifies that the contravention of a provision of the Act or a Regulation set out in Schedule A is a prescribed offence, such as, inter alia, fishing without licence, close times and quotas, net and trap prohibitions. The text consists of 5 sections and 2 Schedules.
