In particular, the Regulation lays down provisions relating to the payment of penalties for infringements. Section 2 establishes prescribed offences and specifies that the contravention of a provision of the Act or a Regulation set out in Schedule A is a prescribed offence, such as, inter alia, fishing without licence, close times and quotas, net and trap prohibitions.
