Abstract The aims of this Regulation are to value the Environmental Impact Assessment for projects and installations, to define the procedures for the obtainment of environmental licences and also specifies the obligations of the licencees. The Regulation is composed of 13 articles and 3 Annexes. Article 1 deals with terms and definitions. Articles 2 to 5 provide for steps for the obtainment of Environmental Licences. Articles 8 to 10 specify the obligations of applicants; and (11) imposes upon project-holders to keep registers for the periodic analysis. Articles 12 and 13 contain general provisions. Annex I contains the list of projects and activities which necessitate the environmental impact assessment study. Annex II deals with the information and data to be included in the environmental impact assessment study. Annex III contains the Environmental Acknowledgment Form for obtaining a licence.
