It is consists of 13 articles. Article 1 deals with terms and definitions. Article 2 specifies cases in which agricultural consignments should be refused and sent back. Article 3 decrees the establishment of the Permanent Technical Committee for Quarantine. Article 4 specifies documents and certificates to be provided with agricultural consignments. Article 6 defines requirements and conditions for the importation, exportation and in transit of agricultural consignments. Article 7 prohibits the exportation or the introduction of date palms, palm parts, palm shoots, palm seedlings, palm fronds, palm leaves, and palm fibres from countries afflicted by Fusarium Oxysporum. Article 8 prohibits the importation and introduction of agricultural soils, natural organic fertilizers and living pests. Article 11 contains offences and penalties. Full text English/Arabic
