Abstract

The Regulation outlines rules concerning the designation and delineation of areas under § 13a Paragraph 1 Sentence 1 Numbers 1 to 4 of the Fertilizer Ordinance (DüV). It specifies the identification of nitrate areas and eutrophicated areas, the drawing of maps to represent these areas, and the application of additional requirements in nitrate areas. These regulations impose specific conditions on the application of fertilizers and the management of agricultural land within designated areas to protect water bodies from contamination. The document consists of 6 Articles and 3 Annexes.
