Abstract

These Regulations place restrictions on the sale of rice produced in or imported into South Africa. No person shall sell rice unless it complies with the standards for the classes as defined by these Regulations, is sold according to such defined classes, and is packaged and labelled as prescribed. The Regulations also prescribe general quality standards and provide with respect to sampling and testing methods.
