Abstract

These Regulations prohibit the sale of peaches and nectarines produced in or imported into South Africa, other than imported peaches and nectarines meeting specified requirements, that do not meet quality standards as prescribed by these Regulations. The Regulations also define quality classes of peaches and nectarines and prescribe quality standards for each class, prescribe rules relative to packing and labelling of peaches and nectarines and make provision for sampling, testing and inspection of peaches and nectarines.
