Abstract

The purpose of these Regulations is to prevent emissions of substances that result in depletion of the stratospheric ozone layer. They lay down provisions governing the production, import, export, placing on the market, use, recovery, recycling, reclamation and destruction of ozone-depleting substances, and on the production, import, export, placing on the market and use of products and equipment containing substances that may result in depletion of the stratospheric ozone layer.
