These Regulations enter into force on 1 September 2004.
Abstract

The purpose of these Regulations is to strengthen the administration of earthquake monitoring activities and improve earthquake monitoring abilities. The text consists of 40 Articles divided into 6 Chapters: General provisions (I); Planning and Building of Earthquake Monitoring Networks (II); Planning and Building of Earthquake Monitoring Networks (III); Protection of seismic monitoring facilities and seismic observation environment (IV); Legal liabilities (V); and Supplementary provisions (VI).
