Abstract

These Regulations are enacted in accordance with the Law of the People’s Republic of China on Fire Prevention and Control, aiming to prevent fire disaster and decrease fire detriment, and protect the safety of citizen’s person and property as well as public property. The Regulations contain 100 Articles divided into 10 Chapters: General Provisions (I); Fire Prevention and Control Safety Responsibilities (II); Fire Prevention (III); Fire Propaganda and Education (IV); Fire Fighting Organizations and Fire Fighting Technical Service Institutions (V); Fire-Suppression and Rescue (VI); Fire Accident Investigation (VII); Supervision and Inspection (VIII); Legal Liabilities (IX); Supplementary Provisions (X).
