The Regulations concern: deciduous fruits, citrus, subtropical fruits and various specified fruits; food business operator; certificate attesting to conformity of a consignment of regulated agricultural products to stipulated requirements; inspection. Matters covered by these Regulations include: requirements and restrictions to export fresh fruits; application for approval for export, and particulars to be included in the application; presentation for inspection of each consignment of fresh fruit; consignment note; inspection procedure; assessment of the competence of testing laboratories involved in the export of fresh fruits and compliance with standards and guidelines for internal quality control; fees for inspection and analyses; offences and penalties.
