Abstract

These Regulations provide with respect to rationing of electricity. It requires the Rationing Authority to prepare plans and procedures for implementation of rationing. The Rationing Authority may impose curtailment in supply and require energy to be surrendered by producers. During rationing, available energy shall be allocated in accordance with the criteria laid down by these Regulations. The Norwegian Water Resources and Energy Directorate, or the party authorized by the Norwegian Water Resources and Energy Directorate, shall monitor compliance with the provisions of these Regulations.
