All animals shall be marked and a register kept by the permit holder. Other obligations concern reporting to the Ministry any death, birth, escape, recapture of such animal or change of location, locality or facility in which the animal is testing of all lions kept in captivity for the feline immunodeficiency virus (FIV). Rules also are made for rehabilitation centres and regarding the outfitting of permanent holding facilities.
