Abstract

The present Regulation implements the Act respecting threatened or vulnerable species (R.S.Q., c. E-12.01). Section 1 establishes that for the purposes of the Regulation, all the specimens of a plant species that grow naturally in their native habitat constitute a wild population. No human intervention, including transplantation into a host environment, may operate to destroy the fundamental nature of a wild population or of a specimen of a wild population. The text consists of 11 sections divided into 6 Parts as follows: General (I); Threatened plant species (II); Vulnerable plants species (III); Plant habitats (IV); Special provisions (V); Final (VI).
