Abstract

The present Regulation lays down provisions relating to environmental impact assessment and review. Section 2 describes the constructions, works, plans, programmes, operations and activities being subject to the environmental impact assessment and review procedure and must be the subject of a certificate of authorization issued by the Government. The text consists of 19 sections divided into 5 Parts as follows: Interpretation (I); Projects subject to the environmental impact assessment and review procedure (II); Preparation and presentation of environmental impact assessment statement (III); Public information and consultation (IV); Final provisions (V). Three Schedules are enclosed.
