This Regulation enters into force on the day of its publication in the Official Gazette.
Abstract

This Regulation prohibits the import and transit of: a) live poultry, ratites (kiwi, emu, ostrich and nandu), farmed and wild feathered game; b) day-old chicks; c) hatching and table eggs; d) fresh and frozen meat of poultry, ratites, farmed and wild feathered game; e) products of poultry, ratites, farmed and wild feathered game; f) products of animal origin (from birds) intended for feeding animals, for industrial use or for use in agriculture, originating from the Cyprus, Dominican Republic, Honduras, Israel, China, Mexico, Russia, Sweden (Gotland region).
