This Regulation enters into force on the day of its publication in the Official Gazette.
Abstract

This Regulation, in order to prevent the introduction of the avian influenza disease, prohibits the import and transit through the Republic of Croatia for shipments of: a) live poultry, ratites (kiwi, emu, ostrich and nandu), farmed and wild feathered game and not mentioned before live birds, including birds accompanying their owners (pet birds); b) day-old chicks; c) hatching and table eggs; d) semen of poultry, ratites and wild fowl; e) fresh and frozen meat of poultry, ratites and wild fowl; f) products of poultry, ratites and wild fowl; g) products of animal origin (from birds) intended for animal feed, industrial use or for use in agriculture; h) untreated hunting trophies from any birds and untreated feathers or parts of feathers.
