Abstract This Regulation of the Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Food lays down zootechnical standards applicable to breeding sheep and goats, their semen, ova and embryos. For the purposes of these provisions pure-bred breeding sheep or goat means any sheep or goat which meets conditions for breeding sheep or goat, in accordance with the regulation on animal husbandry, and whose parents and grandparents are entered in the herd book of the same breed, and is itself entered in the book. This Regulation is composed of 11 articles divided into the following Sections: General provisions (Sec. 1); Pedigree status (Sec. 2); Mixed seed (Sec. 3); Conditions on marketing of pure-bred breeding material (Sec. 4); Final provision (Sec. 5).
