Abstract The aim of this Regulation is to avoid excessive exposure of workers and the lack of control of high-activity radiation sources and radiation sources of unknown origin and to prevent large material damage caused by the contamination exceeding the prescribed limit. This Regulation establishes requirements and rules on radiation protection measures which must be respected by the recipient and the organizer of the importation or transportation of scrap metal in the Republic of Slovenia, the transit shipments of scrap metal with increased radiation and internal shipments. This Regulation is composed of 13 articles, divided into six Sections, and one Annex.
