Abstract This Regulation defines the necessary procedures for the registration of varieties such as fodder plants, cereals, beets, vegetables, potatoes and oil and fibre plants, including various technical issues related to the seed tests (laboratory testing of varieties aimed to determine the effective VCU or “Value for cultivation and use”), and further prescribes the procedure for assessing the value of a single variety (also for the purposes of data collection).
