Abstract This Regulation sets the general requirements for the protection of designations of geographical origin and the traditional reputation (also traditional knowledge/methods of production) of strong alcoholic and aromatized alcoholic drinks (beverages with 15 percent of alcohol and more); and also stipulates the necessary administrative issues for the mandatory registration into the related registers.
