This Regulation enters into force eight days after its publication in the Official Gazette.
Abstract

This Regulation sets the general requirements for the protection of designations of geographical origin and the traditional reputation (also traditional knowledge/methods of production) of strong alcoholic and aromatized alcoholic drinks (beverages with 15 percent of alcohol and more); and also stipulates the necessary administrative issues for the mandatory registration into the related registers.
