Abstract This Regulation, as in accordance with the provisions of the Slovenian Plant protection products Act, determines the detailed requirements for the proper use of plant protection products (PPPs) and for the use of PPPs in public areas in accordance with articles 12 and 13 of Directive 2009/128/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 21 October 2009 establishing a framework for Community action to achieve the sustainable use of pesticides. Users of PPPs shall carefully study and heed the label and instructions for use before the application of PPPs and shall consistently respect all written hazard and precautionary statements (on water buffer zones, protection of honeybees and other non-target organisms) during the application of PPPs. PPPs may only be used on plants in doses or concentrations and in time periods defined and written on the label and instructions for use.
