This Regulation enters into force on the day of its publication in the Official Gazette.
Abstract

This Regulation, with the aim of direct prevention of the introduction of particularly dangerous infectious diseases called African swine fever on the territory of Montenegro, sets the terms for the ban on imports and transit of all consignments of domestic and wild pigs, meat and pig products, if originating or transiting in Lithuania, Latvia, Poland, Russia, Ukraine, Czech Republic, Italy (only Sardinia region) and other countries in which there is a suspicion of such disease outbreak or suspicion over its possible presence.
