Abstract This Regulation of the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, which is composed of three paragraphs and one Annex, establishes the program aimed at increasing the knowledge about the risk of chronic wasting disease (CWD) of deer for years 2018-2020. The aim of the program is to confirm or exclude the presence of chronic wasting disease (CWD) in countries where no such disease has been detected so far, including the Republic of Poland, and in case of confirmation of CWD, estimation of prevalence and geographical coverage of CWD. The program is specified in the Annex and contains the following Sections: (1) Identification of the program; (2) Description of the program; (3) Description of the epizootic situation related to CWD; (4) Measures provided within the program; (5) Costs.
