This text aims at setting rules regarding the specific procedure and manner of issuing these certificates for organic imported products. For the purposes of this Regulation, the terms import indicates the release for free circulation of food or feed or the intention to release food or feed for free circulation. Organic products can be imported if they have proper certificates issued by control organizations, or control bodies on the official list of control bodies of the European Union, or control bodies of third countries.
