Abstract This Regulation sets out requirements and conditions for applying and permitting of the import, export and transit shipment of wastes and the cases when a bank guarantee is required. The Regulation is divided into 5 chapters, Conclusion Provisions and 4 Annexes. Chapter 1 deals with the general requirements. Chapter 2 deals with the permitting conditions. Chapter 2 is divided into two parts, i.e.: (1)the list of the permitting conditions for import and transit shipment of wastes; (2) the list of the permitting conditions for export of wastes. Chapter 3 sets the content of the permit. Chapter 4 regulates the requirements to the permit issuance, the register procedure and the reporting on the permits for import, export and transit shipment of wastes. Chapter 5 deals with the establishment of bank guarantee. Annex 1 enlists the wastes relating to the import, export and transit shipment regime. Annex 2 enlists the wastes categories subject to control according to the Basel Convention. Annex 3 enlists the wastes categories subject to special attention according to the Basel Convention. Annex 4 consists of the sample of the documents needed for the permitting of the import, export and transit shipment of wastes.
