Abstract This Regulation defines various rules and provisions related to the vegetable propagating materials and vegetable seedlings, and closely determines the following: certification terms and conditions to be met; conditions in terms of authenticity and purity of varieties and rootstocks and vegetative development and health status; propagating material and vegetable seedlings production conditions; conditions and procedure of official supervision and official inspection issues; conditions to be met by suppliers of agricultural planting material; content, form and manner of keeping the records on issued certificates; rules for packaging, sealing and labelling; trading/marketing issues (internal and international, retail and wholesale); various administrative issues and requirements.
