Abstract

This Regulation, based on the provisions of the Law on waste management, prescribes the manner of handling waste tires, as well as the conditions to be met by legal entities and individuals who import used tires. Waste tires are tires from motor vehicles (buses, airplanes and other types of aircraft, trucks, trailers, tractors, motorcycles, etc.), agricultural machinery, work vehicles, work machines, etc, whose functions are expired; used tires are tires from motor vehicles (buses, planes and other types of aircraft, trucks, trailers, tractors, motorcycles, etc.), agricultural machinery, work vehicles, work machines, etc, which have been used before and whose use function are not yet ended (including their possible use as recycle materials and/or raw materials or energy production material. Waste tire handling is a set of measures that includes the collection and processing of waste tires for their recycling and use as raw material or combustion energy production. Waste tire collection is the collection, temporary storage and sorting of waste tires for further handling or processing.
