This Regulation enters into force on 1 January 2008 except for certain provisions as specified in the text.
Abstract

This Regulation prescribes methods for the search on the presence of Trichinella in meat, the obligations of competent authorities and operators in food business, the allocation and revocation of health status, veterinary requirements for imports and enforcement of official control and monitoring of trichinosis.
