Abstract This Regulation of the Government of the Republic of Slovenia, which is composed of 20 articles, sets out provisions concerning compulsory treatment of biodegradable kitchen waste produced during distribution of food, kitchen waste generated by households and green garden waste. This Regulation establishes types of tasks to be carried out under the mandatory collection of municipal waste being in contact with kitchen waste and green garden waste. Art. 2 specifies types of wastes to which the Regulation applies. The Regulation is composed of the following Sections: General provisions (Sec. 1); Prohibitions and obligations (Sec. 2); Collection of kitchen waste from restaurants (Sec. 3); Collection of kitchen waste and green garden waste in the public service (Sec. 4); Control (Sec 5); Penalties (Sec. 6); Transitional and final provisions (Sec. 7).
