Abstract This Regulation of the Government of the Republic of Slovenia, which is composed of 38 articles and five Annexes, establishes: (a) provisions concerning monitoring of the quality of bathing water; (b) criteria for evaluating the quality of bathing waters and for the classification of water quality; (c) activities related to the management and quality of bathing water; (d) way of engaging and informing the public on the management of bathing water quality. This Regulation does not apply to bathing water in swimming pools and swimming baths and the artificially created waters separated from surface water and groundwater.
