Abstract This Regulation, as in accordance with the provisions of the Law on organic production (Republic of Srpska), determines the application rules and appearance of the label and of the entity logo, i.e. labelling of organic products. In order to protect consumers and market competition, the terms used to denote organic products must be protected from use on conventional products throughout the Republika Srpska and regardless of the language used. Protection should applies to all terms or abbreviations, whether used alone or in combination. In order to ensure consumer safety throughout the Republika Srpska market, the entity label for organic Republika Srpska products are mandatory on each package of organic food produced in Republika Srpska.
