Abstract This Regulation, based on the provisions of the Croatian Law on marine fisheries, prescribes the conditions and method of issuing the Permit for commercial fishing at sea with a purse seiner net (encircling sardine purse seine net); validity period of approval; criteria for issuing the approval; content of the approval form; conditions under which it is possible to transfer obtained approvals; content and method of keeping the Register of related approvals. Fishing with purse seiners may only be carried out by the holder of authorization to carry out commercial fishing at sea with a vessel for which a valid permit is issued.
