This Regulation enters into force on 1 January 2008.
Abstract

This Regulation provides the conditions under which certain harmful organisms, plants, plant products and other objects, whose introduction and movement are forbidden unless they are intended for trial and scientific purposes or for work on varietal selection, may be introduced or moved, the contents of the application for the approval of undertaking research activities and the method of issuing the approval, the contents of the application for the approval of the introduction or movement of harmful organisms, plants, plant products and other objects and the method of issuing the approval, conditions to be met by institutions in order to undertake research activities, and the prior approval form in the event of the introduction or movement of harmful organisms, plants, plant products and other objects.
