This Regulation enters into force eight days after the day of its publication in the Official Gazette.
Abstract

This Regulation declares that the import of live and chilled bivalve molluscs aimed for human nutrition and originating in Turkey is now prohibited, in order to prevent the presence of the microorganism Escherichia coli and biotoxins, with the objective to protect the human health.
