Abstract This Regulation, based on the provisions of the Slovenian Forest Law, provides for forest management plan of the Rečica forest management unit for the period 2012–2021. The Rečica forest management unit, measuring 4,661.74 ha, is located in the Celje forest management area, in the municipality of Laško, or in the cadastral municipalities of Rečica, Slivno, Šmihel, Sedraž, Rimske Toplice and Debro (ownership both private and public). This text sets specific objectives of forest management and forest area and the guidelines for their achievement (also felling/timber, production functions, ecological functions and social functions).
