Abstract

This Regulation, based on the provisions of the Slovenian Forest Act, provides for forest management plan of the Pišece forest management unit for the period 2012–2021. The Pišece forest management unit, measuring 21,401.99 ha, is located in the Brežice forest management area, in the municipalities of Brežice, Kozje, Krško and Bistrica ob Sotli, or in the cadastral municipalities of Križe, Orešje, Bukovje, Drenovec, Brezovica, Bizeljsko, Podgorje, Pavlova vas , Silovec, Sromlje, Zgornja Pohanca, Oklukova gora, Arnovo selo, Volčje, Curnovec, Blatno, Dednja vas, Pišece, Brezje, Vitna vas, Stara vas, Župelevec, Bojsno, Piršenbreg, Globoko, Mali vrh, Dečno selo, Artiče, Zgornji Obrez, Šentlenart, Brezina, Črnc, Bukovšek, Sela, Slogonsko, Vrhje, Jereslavec, Rakovec, Kapele, Podvinje, Gabrje, Veliki Obrež, Rigonce, Loče, Mihalovec, Mostec, Trnje, Zakot, Brežice, Spodnja Pophanca, Gorjane, Podsreda, Osredek, Ostanjek, Trebče, Kunšperk and Zagaj (ownership both private and public). This text sets specific objectives of forest management and forest area and the guidelines for their achievement (also felling/timber, production functions, ecological functions and social functions).
