Abstract This Regulation, based on the provisions of the Slovenian Forest Act, provides for forest management plan of the Grosuplje forest management unit for the period 2012–2021. The Grosuplje forest management unit, measuring 13,065.56 ha, is located in the Ljubljana forest management area, in the municipalities of Grosuplje and Velike Lašče, or in the cadastral municipalities of Blečji vrh, Polica, Stara vas, Grosuplje - settlement, Stranska vas, Sela, Šmarje, Mali vrh , Wine, Ponova vas, Slivnica, Žalna, Luče, Ilova Gora, Račna, Velike Lipljene, Grosuplje and Turjak (ownership both private and public). This text sets specific objectives of forest management and forest area and the guidelines for their achievement (also felling/timber and care of wildlife habitats, namely maintenance of grassland).
