Abstract This Regulation, based on the provisions of the Slovenian Forest Act, provides for forest management plan of Remšnik forest management unit for the period 2012–2021. The Remšnik forest management unit, measuring 4,635.72 ha, is located in the Maribor forest management area, in the municipalities of Podvelka and Radlje ob Dravi, or in the cadastral municipalities of Zgornja Kapla, Javnik, Brezno, Kozji vrh, Radelca, Vas, Remšnik and Brezni vrh (ownership both private and public). This text sets specific objectives of forest management and forest area and the guidelines for their achievement (here in particular indications on maximum felling, cultivation work required for the conservation and development of forests, care of ponds and protection works necessary for protection against wild animals).
