Abstract This Regulation aims to establish a National Cereal Council composed of traders, industries, associations, cooperatives, research and educational institutes concerned with legumes and cereal products. The Regulation sets forth the principles and procedures of establishment, operation, management, functions, authority, control and financing of the National Cereal Council. The Regulation states that within the framework of production and industrial activities in the agricultural sector, the Council works through taking measures for protection of environment, public health and producers’ and consumers’ rights and ensuring rural development.
