Abstract This Regulation of the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, which is composed of three paragraphs and one Annex, establishes the early detection program for the classical swine fever (CSF) virus for the years 2018-2020. The main aim of the program is the early detection of CSF in the pig or wild boar population on the territory of the Republic of Poland. Early detection of CSF will allow quick action to eradicate this disease and prevent it from spreading to the territory of the Republic of Poland and other European Union countries. The program is specified in the Annex and contains the following Sections: (1) Identification of the program; (2) Historical data on classical swine fever; (3) Description of the program; (4) Measures provided within the program; (5) Profits resulting from the program; (6) Data on CSF in last five years; (7) Assumptions of the program.
