Abstract This Regulation of the Minister of Climate and Environment, which is composed of four articles and two Annexes, lays down: (1) detailed scope of data included in strategic noise maps drawn up for cities with more than 100,000 inhabitants, the method of their presentation and the form of their transmission (specified in Annex 1); (2) detailed scope of data included in the strategic noise maps prepared for major and main roads, railway lines and major airports, the method of their presentation and the form of their transmission (specified in Annex 2). The maps are used for processing data for the national monitoring of the environment, for creation and updating programs of the protection of environment from noise, and for informing society about noise pollution.
