This Regulation enters into force eight days after its publication in the Official Gazette, and it will fully apply on 1 July 2012.
Abstract

This Regulation hereby defines the detailed conditions to be fulfilled by zoos on the territory of the Republic of Serbia (also including mini zoos) in terms of general animal welfare issues such as: space and equipment for keeping and reproduction of animals in captivity, isolation rooms for animals, protect animals from visitors and visitors from the animals, the continuing implementation of animal health protection, feeding and watering the animals, keeping records on all animals, animal care plan in the event of the closure of the zoo or of the mini zoo, also including the maintenance of facilities, storage space and equipment, as well as elements necessary for determining the mini zoo as recognized zoo.
