Abstract

This Regulation, based on the provisions of the Croatian Law on animal protection, prescribes the conditions that must be met by temporary accommodation facilities in which pets are left for storage and care at the expense of the owner, the training programme for staff caring for pets, the manner of handling pets, the contents of the register of temporary accommodation facilities and the manner of keeping records and the content of records on pets in the facility for temporary accommodation of pets. This text specifies standard operating procedures (written guidelines that include the manner of handling and care of pets, the manner of operation of the facility and the work performed in the facility).
