Abstract

This Regulation prescribes the conditions that must be met by all shelters for temporary or permanent care of protected wild animals on the territory of the Republic of Serbia. The provisions of this text refer to shelters keeping: 1) protected wild animals that are not able to survive on their own, as well as animals that cannot be returned to nature; 2) sick and/or injured animals which are presumed to be able to return to nature after appropriate care and treatment; 3) animals that have been seized or confiscated in accordance with the national Nature Protection Law, Law on Animal Welfare and related ratified international agreements.
