Abstract This Regulation, based on the provisions of the Croatian Law on marine fisheries and Law on aquaculture, lays down the conditions, criteria and method of granting State aid in fisheries, in accordance with the Temporary Framework for State aid measures to support the economy in the current covida-19 pandemic. The subject of the aid is granting state aid in fisheries, intended as aid to eliminate serious disturbances in the economy due to the coronavirus epidemic in fisheries and aquaculture sectors, such as: a) commercial fishing at sea, small-scale coastal fishing, fishing by fishing vessels in different fishing tool segments, other segments of commercial fishing at sea; b) aquaculture, shellfish farming, other segments of aquaculture; c) processing of fishery and aquaculture products.
